CYFA-BO stands for CW Ytterbium Amplifier and is designed for one channel amplification operation. A useful tool for a wide range of applications. Simple to install, a fast starting unit, you can focus on your experiment, not on the Ytterbium doped-fiber amplifier.

CYFA-BO are designed by Lumibird to be powerful. Therefore they deliver an output power up to 42 dBm. They offer a cost effective solution for input seeder source power above +20 dBm.

The particular and patented optical design of Lumibird Ytterbium doped fiber amplifiers prevents from auto Q-switching. Therefore, it offers ample possibilities to use it.

Models are available in polarization random or maintaining polarization (PER 17 dB typically) versions. Their design is optimized for narrow linewidth amplification (<100kHz). The standard bandwidth is from 1060 to 1090nm and can be extended on request.

They propose an excellent signal to noise ratio (OSNR) within the bandwidth above.

Friendly user benchtop or compact OEM modules are available. The stand-alone device can be monitored via front face and via RS232 or RJ45 with SNMP Protocol. The module can be integrated into complex systems. Compact OEM modules are controlling from RS232.

The installation is easy, and the fiber amplifier can be ready very fast. However, if you need support, Lumibird will be pleased to provide free support.
