Multi Stages Ytterbium Fiber Amplifier

CYFA-PB

CYFA-PB

Ytterbium fiber amplifier with integrated pre-amplifier for scientific applications

The CYFA-PB series (Continuous Ytterbium-doped fiber amplifier) are designed for continuous wave operations in the 1.0 μm range and deliver up to 42 dBm of saturated output power. It is also designed to amplify narrow linewidth source signal. Reliable, this Ytterbium fiber amplifier does not need maintenance.

Several scientific applications can be achieved with one Ytterbium fiber amplifier, such as material characterization, nonlinear optics for the visible light generation, or dipolar trapping.

CYFA-PB fiber amplifiers series are designed for continuous wave operations in the 1.0µm range. These fiber amplifiers are manufactured for one channel amplification. They also offer high optical signal to noise ratio at the output.

They deliver an output power up to 42 dBm with a high power stability and low relative intensity noise.

They can be configured in random or maintaining polarization with a polarization extinction ratio of 17dB.

Their patented design is highly robust thus they can amplify narrow linewidth signals (<100 kHz).

Two standards bandwidth are offered, ones from 1060 to 1090 nm and the other one from 1110 to 1114 nm.  The devices operate with signal down to 0dBm, thanks to several stages of amplification.

Compact OEM module or turnkey benchtop, they both provide robustness and reliability. The benchtop can be controlled from the front panel or via RS232 and RJ45 with SNMP protocol.

Easy to install and use, there is no need of support. Nevertheless, Lumibird provides free and fast support.
