PEFA-SP-C series (Pulsed Erbium Fiber Amplifier) are designed to amplify femtosecond and picosecond pulses without pulse distortion.

PEFA-SP-C stands for Pulsed erbium fiber amplifier designed for short pulses amplification without pulse distortion. Therefore, applications like super-continuum and pulse compression or high sped transmission systems can be performed.

These amplifiers do not change the pulse width either the spectral linewidth. They deliver 33dbm in average power and operate over the c-band. They can be ordered with polarization maintaining.

The devices are available in turnkey benchtop or in compact OEM module controlled through R232 for integration.
