MIGA and Keopsys
Show video below and pay attention at 46”. These are Keopsys amplifiers used to amplify a very narrow linewidth source at 1550nm up to 2 or 5W. The emitted wave is doubling at 780nm in order to be quasi-resonant with the atomic transition. Thus when a gravitational wave passes through this interferometer atoms will move.
Environment
The MIGA must be placed in very low noise and very low vibration environment. This project is challenging, and Keopsys is proud that its low noise and highly stable amplifiers are used.
The global comprehension of our universe is very important to have a better knowledge of our future.
