Multi-Stages Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA)

CEFA-C-PB-HP

Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier for scientific applications

CEFA-C-PB-HP: erbium-doped fiber amplifier designed for single channel amplification. These C-band amplifiers deliver up to 42 dBm of saturated output power. This fiber amplifiers family offer the highest quality of beam amplification. No other fees have to be programmed, no maintenance is needed.

Erbium-doped fiber amplifier specially designed for scientific applications as atomic cooling, Rubidium spectroscopy, nanotechnologies and much more. The CEFA-C-PB-HP patented Lumibird design is manufactured under rigorous quality management with several tests at differents stage of the manufacturing process.

The solid benchtop can be driven directly from the front face or via RS232/USB interface and for the power lower than 33 dBm with RJ45 interface.

These amplifiers are built with several stages of amplification making them very stable regarding power. Furthermore, these devices can be operated with a weak input signal down to -20 dBm. They also offer an excellent optical noise figure and a high optical signal to noise ratio at the output. Polarization maintaining option is available even at 42 dBm output power. Finally, their unique design allows the amplification of narrow linewidth laser beam without enlarging.

Several hundreds of units of this erbium-doped fiber amplifier have been sold over the World with the same quality level.

Large choice of OEM modules is also available. They are controlled with RS232 and can be integrated into complex systems.

Benchtop or OEM module, these fiber amplifiers are easy to use.You will need five minutes to install the device. However, if necessary, Lumibird provides a free, fast and complete support.
