LONG PULSED ERBIUM LASER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING APPLICATIONS

Environmental monitoring applications are performed with the Lumibird PULSED ERBIUM LASER EOLA. It delivers a Fourier transform limited beam and high peak power allowing long distance measurements. Wind or pollution measurements require a high-reliability device, that's PEFA-EOLA is robust by design and requires no maintenance.

Environmental monitoring as wind sensing for turbine control becomes easy with the Pulsed Erbium Laser EOLA lasers series.

These lasers are compact and robust, making them easy to integer saving space and cost. Devices are tested over a wide range of temperature: from very low to very high temperatures. Consequently, Lumibird pulsed lasers can be used in harsh environmental conditions.

For special requirements, Lumibird can propose a particular package, for example with different dimensions, vibrations tested or IPXX package.

And optical properties are also excellent: linearly polarized, long pulse duration, narrow linewidth, Fourier transform Limited (M²<1.1), low RIN and phase noise.

All these properties are keys for Heterodyne LIDAR for wind sensing applications.

The Lumibird unique and patented design allows the laser to deliver energy pulse up to 10 µJ with long pulse duration and more on request.

Therefore, PEFL-EOLA lasers are the ideal tool for Doppler heterodyne LIDAR systems.

The PEFL-EOLA is designed and manufactured with high quality. Therefore there is no need of maintenance. Easy to use and drive, no installation is required. Nevertheless, Lumibird propose support for the first integration.
