High Peak Power Pulsed Ytterbium Fiber laser

1µm HIGH POWER FIBER LASER for the airborne survey, lidar, bathymetry...

This pulsed Ytterbium fiber laser provides pulses from 1 to 200 ns over a wide range of repetition rates (10 kHz to 1 MHz). Compact and robust it can work in harshest environments. Reliable device: it can operate over years.

Lumibird pulsed ytterbium fiber laser (PYFL-MIRVISION) is compact and rugged, making it an ideal candidate for the airborne survey, bathymetry and on board applications.

The material of the packaging allows the laser to be vibrations in compliance with military standards (MIL-STD-810F) and radiation certified.

It delivers a high peak power of 25kW with a pulse energy of 100µJ with a broad range of frequency rate from 10kHz to 1MHz.

Furthermore, it can be linearly polarized, for applications which need to measure a small signal from the backscattered light signal.

The high peak power pulsed ytterbium fiber laser module incorporates a microcontroller for internal controls, alarms, and RS232/USB communication. To trigger the optical pulses, an external TTL signal is required.

PYFL-MIRVISION original packaging’s shape allows the integration into complete and highly complex systems.

These maintenance free high energy fiber laser can deliver a high-quality beam 24h/24 and 7days/7.

The ytterbium pulsed fiber laser is easy to install and to drive. Also, on request for the first integration Lumibird provides support.
