📌 Today, we open the doors of our fiber draw tower at our Lannion site (France)

You’ll see a preform being made (the glass cylinder that serves as the basis for the optical fiber), a glass droplet from the molten preform, quality control tests, a winding, etc…
The manufacture of optical fibers is a sophisticated process that requires precision and rigorous quality control at every stage, and we’re very proud to have a fully operational tower!
These fibers are essential components of the fiber lasers developed by Lumibird, and mastering their manufacture is part of the Group’s verticalization strategy.
