CEFA-L-PB-HP series are L-band Erbium fiber amplifiers designed for a single channel amplification. These L-band amplifiers deliver up to 33 dBm of saturated output power with low input power. Available in connected Benchtop or in compact OEM modules, these amplifiers are reliable and do not require maintenance.

L-band Erbium Fiber Amplifiers design for scientific applications like nonlinear study or optical component testing, or biotechnology. Quality is at the heart of Lumibird manufacturing process. The CEFA-L-PB-HP fiber amplifiers series are designed for single channel amplification in the L-band (from 1565 to 1605 nm). Extended wavelength ranges are available on request. They deliver a saturated output power of 33 dBm with a high beam quality and high long-term stability, even with -20 dBm input power.

Stand alone, or compact OEM module devices can be seeded with small input power down to -20 dBm, thanks to the multi-stages amplification design. They also offer an excellent optical noise figure and high optical signal to noise ratio at the output.  Moreover, the series include polarization maintaining models.

CEFA-L-PB-HP is available in friendly and connected user benchtop B130 or compact OEM modules for a broad range of operations and applications. Whatever the packaging, the device doesn’t require an installation, however, if necessary, Lumibird proposes a free and rapid support. The maintenance free design offers a long life duration.
